The properties of the new product are based on three factors. Firstly, a special light-sensitive AIE-DDPR material, the creation of which took decades. Secondly, the 100-layer encoding technology, in which the basic ‘spot’ for recording information occupies an area of only 54 nanometres. Thirdly, it uses a nanometric laser for extremely precise synchronisation of the reading and writing processes.
